This experience is designed to provide a more complete visit of Florence’s Duomo by combining interior access with exclusive rooftop terrace entry.



With priority access and a small group, you will avoid long lines and gain access to areas typically closed to the public, while learning about the cathedral’s construction, architecture, and history.

What You’ll Experience



Meeting at the Duomo  

Your experience begins outside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Your guide will introduce the site and prepare you for the visit before entering.

Priority Entry to the Cathedral  

You will enter the Duomo with pre-arranged access, allowing you to avoid long lines and begin your visit efficiently.

Exclusive Terrace Access   

You will ascend to the Duomo terraces, approximately 100 feet above ground level. These elevated walkways were originally used during the construction of Brunelleschi’s dome and are not accessible on standard visits.

Views of Florence from Above     

From the terraces, you will have close-up views of the cathedral’s exterior, including its marble façade, stained glass windows, and architectural details. You will also see the rooftops of Florence, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistry.

Architectural Details Up Close  

While walking along the terraces, you will see details that are not visible from ground level, including carvings, structural elements, and materials used during construction.

Duomo Interior Exploration    

After the terrace visit, you will return to ground level to explore the cathedral interior. Your guide will explain its design, history, and the frescoes inside the dome.
