All bookings are accepted subject to the following conditions. Any payment made by the client, or others, on behalf of the client signifies that the following conditions have been read, understood and accepted by the client.
Reservations & Payments: A deposit of $400 per person is required at the time of booking. Your reservation will be made and confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. Final payment is due 60 days prior to your departure. All reservations made less than 60 days before departure must be paid in full. The deposit may vary in cases of Villa, Farmhouses, or apartment bookings. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars and are based on the rate of exchange at time of proposal. Your package price may be affected due to the fluctuation in the exchange rate. Forms of payment accepted are personal checks, bank checks, or money orders drawn on a U.S. bank or branch, and made payable to DaVinci Custom Travel & Tours.
Revisions: A $25 per person charge will be levied in the event changes are made to the reservation once it is confirmed.
Cancellations: All cancellations must be received in writing and sent via regular mail, fax or email with a full explanation and signature(s) before it will be considered effective. The following charges will apply for cancellations received within:
- Up to 60 days prior to departure – 50% of the total deposit amount plus any cancellation fees that may be assessed by our suppliers.
- 59-30 days prior – Full refunds less 50% of the total tour price per person plus any cancellation fees assessed by our travel suppliers.
- 29-16 days prior – Full refund less 75% of the total tour price per person plus any cancellation fees assessed by our travel suppliers.
- 15-00 days prior to No Show – No Refund
Travel Insurance: Complete travel insurance coverage is available and strongly recommended to protect you from unforeseen circumstances that may force you to cancel your trip. A brochure with a full explanation of coverage and rates will be sent to you with your tour confirmation. Questions pertaining to Travel Insurance and coverage should be directed to Access America by calling toll free 1-866-455-6109 or by visiting www.accessamerica.com. We also recommend that your check with your own insurance company to verify the overseas coverage they provide.
Airline Tickets: All land arrangements do not include airfare unless otherwise specified. Airfare is available at an additional cost. Once airline tickets are issued they are non-refundable. Penalties apply for charges made after issuance. Extended stays are permitted at an additional cost.
Refunds: No refunds are given for any unused services after travel begins, (i.e. Tours, Hotels, Villas, Car Rental, Meals, Transfers, Sightseeing, Guides, Train Tickets and Entrance Fees.) Cost of various fees (i.e. Travel Insurance, Changes, Overnight Deliveries) is non-refundable. Refund requests must be received in writing within 10 days of return and will be sent to you once we receive it from the appropriate travel supplier(s). No refund will be made in the event of "No Show" or trip interruption.
Hotels: Accommodations and specified room categories will be provided at hotels listed and confirmed in your program or similar ones.
Prices: All rates are per person based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available at an additional cost. All rates are subject to change without notice. Fluctuation of currency may result in higher cost. No additional charges will be imposed once we receive your final payment in full. Children's rates are available on request.
Travel Vouchers & Documents: Travel Documents will be mailed or distributed to you 14 days or more prior to your departure. A late booking fee will apply for any travel arrangements made 30 days or less prior to departure.
Responsibility and Liability: The responsibility of DaVinci Custom Travel & Tours is strictly limited. As a booking agent, DaVinci Custom Travel & Tours organizes, promotes and sells tour programs consisting of certain travel services, limited to surface transportation, sightseeing excursions and hotel accommodations which we reserve from various travel suppliers. The suppliers providing these services, are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of DaVinci Custom Travel & Tours. DaVinci Custom Travel & Tours is not responsible for the willful or negligent acts and/or omissions of such suppliers and of any of their respective employees or representatives, including without limitation, their failure and/or inadequacy of delivery of service. DaVinci Custom Travel & Tours assumes no liability for injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, defect of vehicles, break-down in equipment, strikes, theft, cancellations or changes in itinerary schedules. Remember that any and all travel documents are your responsibility. Any alterations made are usually of minor nature. Reasonable changes in the routing, hotels and sightseeing services may be made if circumstances demand or where deemed advisable for the comfort and well-being of the passengers. The payment of required deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation for a customized tour/package/group constitutes consent to all provisions of the conditions and general information set forth. DaVinci Custom Travel & Tours accepts no responsibility for losses or additional expenses.
